Alberta Advantage Immigration Program Announces Its Plan For Increased Immigration Numbers

Good day ladies and gentlemen, this is IRC news, and I am Joy Stephen, an authorized Canadian Immigration practitioner coming out with this  s. Today is the 24/02/2023 and I am coming to you from the Polinsys studios in Cambridge, Ontario.

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has officially increased the number of nominations for immigration candidates to 9,750 in 2023, up from 6,500 in 2022. The program is expected to continue its growth in the near future, with an estimated 10,140 nominations in 2024 and 10,849 nominations in 2025. The increased number is in response to Alberta’s economic growth and current and future job vacancies.

The AAIP operates across all sectors and includes pathways for immigrants of all skill levels, including students and entrepreneurs. Its Rural Renewal and Rural Entrepreneur streams aim to attract immigrants to rural areas in the province to address employment issues outside the province’s major cities.
