Invitations to Apply to the Entrepreneur Stream

On December 22, 2022 the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 14 invitations to apply under the Entrepreneur Stream. Expressions of interest scored by December 15, 2022 were eligible for consideration for this round.

Invitations to apply were issued for expressions of interest that received a score of between 140 and 173.

Ontario’s 2022 nomination allocation reached

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has reached its 2022 nomination allocation. The program issued a total of 9,750 nominations to successful applicants across all streams in 2022.

New applications, and applications already submitted to the OINP, will continue to be accepted and considered under the program’s 2023 nomination allocation.

Invitations to apply issued for the Masters Graduate stream

On December 21, 2022, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued invitations to apply to potential candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the Masters Graduate stream with a score of 46 and above.

Tech Draw: Issuance of notifications of interest by targeted occupations under Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream

On December 19, 2022, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued targeted notifications of interest to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream.

The OINP targeted candidates with a comprehensive ranking system score of 484-490 and work experience in the following NOC codes:

21211 – Data Scientists

21231 – Software engineers and designers

21230 – Computer systems developers and programmers

21232 – Software developers and programmers

21234 – Web developers and programmers

21233 – Web designers

21223 – Database analysts and data administrators

21311 – Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers

You may apply to the Human Capital Priorities stream if you:

received a notification of interest on December 19, 2022

can demonstrate that your work experience was in one of the eligible National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes listed.
