Yukon Community Program pilot concludes, released by Yukon on 29 July 2025

by Social Media

The Yukon Community Program pilot concluded as planned on June 30, 2025, following the completion of the agreement between the Government of Yukon and the Government of Canada. Introduced in 2020 and extended in 2023, the pilot aimed to address labour shortages by allowing candidates to combine up to three part-time jobs to meet the Yukon Nominee Program requirements. With the pilot’s conclusion, Yukon’s other immigration streams remain available through its invitational process:
  • Yukon Business Nominee Program
  • Critical Impact Worker
  • Skilled Worker
  • Express Entry streams
These streams align with Yukon’s 2025 priorities, identified through industry and business community feedback. The Government of Yukon and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will now review the pilot’s results to guide future initiatives.
